I'm a female gun owner who carries concealed and I understand perfectly well that most men are physically stronger than I am. It's not a good thing or a bad thing. It just is. I also know that even a woman trained in martial arts is not necessarily a match for a determined criminal, as the case of Meredith Emerson painfully illustrates. I think anyone who is offended by what you've said here has issues that go way beyond gun control.
