That news report stated that the citizen used a shotgun in self defense. I have no reason to doubt that news report, but if you have some facts (rather than speculation) indicating that the news report is inaccurate, please feel free to post a link to those facts. The purpose of the other self defense cases that I discuss is not to make a shotgun versus handgun comparison. Instead, my point is that self defense works. Unless the homeowner was using a Taurus Judge or similar handgun loaded with a .410 shotshell, this report is not accurate. The facts suggest that the homeowner used a shotgun. The propaganda afterwards says that the homeowner used a handgun and then goes on to cite many other cases where a person repelled criminals with handguns. Please fix this report.
