I’ve previously discussed how the Second Amendment appears to protect many arms other than guns. In that spirit, I would like to point out a website that I found last week: KnifeRights.org. Basically, the goal of Knife Rights is to build an effective advocacy group that will defend knife rights against unreasonable restrictions, similar to how the NRA defends gun rights. While I generally prefer firearms over edged weapons for self defense, I strongly believe in the importance of defending our right to keep and bear various arms, and encourage everyone to take a look at KnifeRights.org.

… which shows you how it can be dangerous to be watching home shopping channels at night, especially as you eventually find out that swords are considered "cutlery", and are therefore non-returnable. [Can't find the youtube on that scene… sigh.]
