As CBS 11 reports, a Dallas home owner caught a burglar in his home. When he confronted the burglar, the burglar charged at him and threw a backpack.The home owner lawfully used his handgun to shoot the burglar in the arm, and held him until the police arrived. The police say that 17-year-old Alexander Aguilar, who was wanted on multiple warrants, broke into the home on the 2300 block of Larry Drive in Dallas, Texas on Tuesday in the afternoon.
This is yet another case of a law abiding citizen using his lawfully owned firearm to stop crime. Not only did this home owner stop a wanted criminal from injuring and stealing from him, but now that burglar is off the street, and unable to victimize other people.
