Below is information about the Illinois State Rifle Association’s Legal Assistance Committee Banquet, which will take place on Friday May 28, 2010 in the Diplomat West Banquet Hall, located at North Avenue & Rt. 83 in Elmhurst, Illinois. Doors open at 5:00 PM, and the dinner/raffle begins at 7:00 PM. The proceeds of this banquet support gun rights litigation, such as the soon-to-be-decided McDonald v. Chicago case:
In order to help support litigation like McDonald v Chicago, the ISRA developed the Legal Assistance Committee to protect your rights at both the State and Federal level. All proceeds from this banquet will go towards continuing these efforts now and forever, whenever your right to keep and bear arms is under threat.
