As reported, a Spokane, Washington armed robbery of a credit union was stopped by an armed citizen who was lawfully exercising his right to concealed carry.
Police say that an armed robber entered the Spokane Teacher Credit Union, and climbed on the counter as part of a robbery attempt. A customer in the bank reportedly grew his lawfully carried handgun and fired a shot, striking the robber in the upper chest or shoulder, causing the robber to flee. No injuries to any employees or customers were reported, and police are searching for the robber.
