The owner of an Albuquerque, New Mexico home used his gun to stop an intruder at 5:00am.

News reports say that a burglar broke in through a closed garage door using a tool to force the garage door to open, at which point a burglar alarm alerted the residents of the home.  Acting in self defense, the homeowner reportedly shot the burglar, ending the home invasion.  The body of a suspect was found in the home’s driveway, and no injuries to the residents of the home were reported.

 

Home invasions are a deadly threat to the occupants of a home.  The criminals who commit such crimes often murdershootstabtorturekidnap, and permanently injure their victims.  The result is that the lives of law abiding, innocent people can be ended or ruined in an instant, all because of a criminal’s desire to make a quick buck.

Thankfully, this Albuquerque homeowner was armed for self defense, and a result the only person harmed was the burglar.
