Barack Obama will be the next president of the United States. The Democrats control both the House and the Senate. Obama has repeatedly called for a new and permanent ban on so called “assault weapons” – the type of guns best suited for self defense purposes. Now is a good time to purchase guns and magazines.
As an African American, I’m proud that we as a country have overcome racism to the extent that Obama could be elected president. As a gun owner, I’m deeply concerned about my 2nd Amendment rights, and what Obama’s presidency will mean for my ability to own a gun for self defense and the defense of loved ones.
